Introducing Willpower: A New Stat for Your Astronauts
We’re adding a brand new stat for your astronauts in the Aphelium universe: Willpower. Think of it as a happiness barometer for your hardworking space explorers. Here’s what you need to know:
What’s This Willpower Thing? Picture Willpower as your astronaut’s inner fuel gauge. It maxes out at 100 but can dip down to 0.
Work Hard, Play Hard: As your astronaut works, explores, and crafts, their Willpower takes a hit. Why? Because, just like us, they need variety and breaks to stay sharp.
Time to /Wander: Notice a drop in Willpower? Your astro’s telling you they need a breather. It’s /wander time! This command lets them chill out, maybe ponder life while watching a sunset or reminisce about buddies. But hey, remember, wandering isn’t free — it costs 1 energy point each time. Balance is key!
Why Monitor Willpower? Low Willpower means your astronaut’s not in their top form — their work efficiency could slip. Keep an eye on this stat; you want them at their best.

Increase Your Efficiency with “Tireless Voyager” Skill
This skill helps your astronaut maintain higher efficiency, reducing the need for breaks.
Maximize this skill, and your astronaut will need only half the usual break time. Perfect for those who love to grind!
Stealthy Siphoning & Spider Senses: New Skills in the Mix
Stealthy Siphoning Skill
This skill is for the astronauts who like to live on the edge. It allows them to ‘acquire’ AP from landowners during the /wander action.
Level 1: Gain between 3–8 AP with a 30% chance.
Level 2: Boost that to 9–15 AP with a 40% rate.
Level 3: Reach for 16–25 AP, now with a 55% chance.
It activates when you use the /wander command, letting your astronaut sneakily gather AP in their free time.
Spider Senses Skill: The Landowner’s Watchful Eye
For landowners, this skill enhances your ability to detect those trying to siphon AP on your land.
Level 1: A 10% chance to catch stealthy astronauts.
Level 2: Increases your detection odds to 20%.
Level 3: Amps it up to a 30% detection chance.
If you catch a siphoning astronaut, they’ll lose 15 Reputation (REP) points, 15 Friendship points, and 15 Will Power points.
Alright, Astronaughties, now prepare yourselves for the grand finale of today’s updates, thanks to Dubbe for the inspiration! Here’s what’s coming:
Boss Battles and Rewards:
Power 70–90 ▶️ This one’s carrying 7K AP and 7 serums. If we defeat it, everyone who contributed an enhanced alienoid gets a share of the loot. And hey, even if you don’t take it down, contributors still score some GXP, friendship and REP. But teamwork is key here — you’ve got to collaborate to claim these rewards.
Power > 90 power ▶️ 13K AP, 13 serums, 3–4 dravocados/crystal berries.
Power > 130 power ▶️ 20K AP, 20 serums, 7–8 dravocados.
The AP and serums get divided equally based on your alienoid contributions, but getting those dravocados is down to luck!
Cooldowns and Community Activation:
We’re implementing cooldowns on adding alienoids, ensuring everyone gets a shot. These boss aliens spring into action once our community hits a certain number of /explores. You’ll find them in the astronaut event channel, and we’ll ping you when an alien shows up. Then, it’s a race against time — you have 10 minutes to team up and take them down!
Contribution Matters: If you participate in but can’t defeat the boss, don’t worry — you still earn 10 GXP, Rep, and Friendship points. No negative effects here.
Community Responsibility: If no one steps up to the challenge, the boss aliens will curse the entire community. We’re talking a 10% deduction in AP and resources until the next one appears, plus a -10 hit to everyone’s Rep. It’s a team effort.
